Pictogram

I chose this pictogram because it demonstrates a great use of shape, unity and balance. The shape of the main figure indicates movement in the way that it isn't an typical shape such as a square or circle. The two figures unite very well in the sense that the entire image is asymmetrically balanced. One side does not seem to way more than the other. In terms of contrast, the image is perfectly balancde as there is an even amount of black versus white. Too much of one color would have taken away from the fact that the image's purpose is to inform the viewer, rather than intrigue him.
